I think the title of the book is misleading It is less about water and about ecology and habitat It has a lot of detailed information about plants and animals that live around the water The illustrations are very well done.

This would be a great 4th grade book because it has great details and descriptions about places with water It specifically talks about where water goes It is non fiction.
