MAD SCIENCE OVERLOAD Both a 7 year old advanced reader and a 4 year old reluctant reader LOVE LOVE this book set One book is almost 10 minute easy read for the 7 year old although she read it over and over again to verify the science facts in the book And she loves that Franny is a strong female character in which she can really relate to The book is a read aloud to the 4 year old son He also asks to read the books over and over which we happily oblige Very engaging books indeed.

I love Jim Benton s sense of humor in these books, evidently inspired by classic sci fi films and presented through the eyes of a female, prepubescent evil genius My daughter can t get enough.

These books are PERFECT The story is cute, accessible, funny, and while it s definitely an early reader book it is great to use for older kids who have low reading skills.
